About ICMCF

Isabella County Medical Care Facility (ICMCF) is a 100 bed Skilled Nursing/Rehabilitation Facility which is owned and financially supported by Isabella County since 1965. The building is governed by an appointed Department of Health and Human Services Board.   ICMCF’s unique location is physically attached to McLaren Central Michigan.  Being attached to an acute care hospital provides many benefits to our guests including comfort in knowing physicians and services offered in a hospital setting are right down the hall and ease with admitting directly from the hospital.  Our consistent CMS Five-Star Quality Staffing Rating and registered nurse staffing ratios allow us to provide exceptional post-surgery rehabilitation and medically complex follow-up care.

ICMCF cares for area residents who require skilled nursing care, short-term rehabilitation therapy, extended care, memory care, and hospice services. Our staff makes great efforts to ensure that our community of residents enjoy a healthy, independent and quality way of life. From listening to their desires, needs, and concerns, we are able to provide our residents with a well-rounded lifestyle. ICMCF offers many programs and stimulating activities to meet a wide variety of needs for individuals.

ICMCF has a Five-Star Quality Rating from Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. Nursing homes with 5-stars are considered to have much above average quality.

We are experts in skilled nursing care, short-term rehabilitation therapy, extended care, and memory care.
